Why a Clock System ?

In an installation comprising several clocks, this system, via a master clock, enables all receiver clocks to be synchronised on the same time base (master clock) in a reliable way in a building or a group of buildings.

This master clock may itself be radio-synchronised on a transmitter (FI France-Inter, DCF Germany, GPS satellite). Independent radio-synchronised clocks are not always ideally positioned to capture radio waves (metal structure, radio or electrical interference), the time distribution enables the reliable synchronisation of all clocks on an installation. Radio synchronisation ensures accurate display of the time without any variation. In addition, it ensures summer/winter time changeovers automatically to allow for a significant saving on costs for resetting independent battery operated clocks. Besides savings in setting up, monitoring and maintenance, a time distribution system ensures the accurate reliable display of the time in all buildings. A master clock with programmer enables the accurate setting of security systems, heating, bell and lighting equipment, etc.
