About Stokes Clock - The Clock Specialists

Clock Making and restoration has been in the Stokes family for many generations. The Late Knoll Stokes was a well known collector of Clocks and Veteran Cars and was a very knowledgeable on all these subjects as well as being very involved in hands-on restoration of his own collection.

His son Christopher decided to go in to business of Clock restoration and opened his shop and workshops in Mac Curtain Street, Cork City, The main shop is still located at this premises in Cork City.

Philip Stokes, Christopher’s son, trained in Clock restoration at the Swiss / Irish school of Horology in Dublin, as well as absorbing the love and history of clocks from his father and grandfather. Philip now runs the shop in Cork and the expanding business which covers the whole of Ireland. Philip is a skilled craftsman and very knowledgeable on the subject of clocks, both antique and modern, and is very happy to share his interest and knowledge to any body that asks.
